Let's learn a little about the Avengers before we go into great Avengers Birthday party ideas! This is the short version of the long history of the Avengers.

The Avengers are a team of extraordinary individuals that have either superpowers or other special characteristics. Their purpose is to protect global stability from inner or extraterrestrial threats. First assembled by S.H.I.E.L.D., the team consisted of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Hulk.

Shortly after, S.H.I.E.L.D. became a defunct agency. Due to the HYDRA infiltration, the team wasn't considered an American governmental division anymore. Stark Industries remodels Stark Tower into the Avengers Tower, and the team joins together in the fight against HYDRA. After their victory, Stark builds Ultron. He was hoping that the A.I. would be able to defend the world from any threats necessary in place of the Avengers. The plan (of course) backfires and Ultron starts a war against humanity and the Avengers had to fight him. After they defeat Ultron, Hulk, Barton, Thor, and Stark leave the team. Scarlet Witch, Vision, War Machine, and Falcon now join and the Avengers relocate to the Avengers Compound.

Under Captain America, the team completes several successful operations around the world. That is until the amount of collateral damage causes the UN to pass the Sokovia Accords. This was to regulate their actions which then turns the team from a private organization back to one under the control of the government. The differences in opinions create another rift within the team which split the Avengers into two factions, one led by Iron Man and the other by Captain America. Iron Man, Vision, and War Machine remained official members, while Captain America, Black Widow, and Falcon continued to operate in the shadows.

Two years after the Accords were ratified, Thanos launches his quest to gather all of the Infinity Stones. The Avengers were split up into different groups as they fought to combat Thanos joining forces with the Masters of the Mystic Arts, the Wakandans, and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Iron Man and Spider-Man went to Titan alongside Doctor Strange, where they allied with Star-Lord, Nebula, Mantis, and Drax to stop Thanos. Captain America, Banner, Black Widow, War Machine, Falcon, Thor, Groot, Rocket , and Scarlet Witch protected Vision from the Black Order in Wakanda. The team in Wakanda is successful in killing Thanos' minions. However, the team on Titan is defeated. Thanos then arrives and overpowers Wakanda before killing Vision to acquire the Mind Stone.

This completes the Infinity Gauntlet and eradicates half of the universe's population. Among the victims were Falcon, Scarlet Witch, and Spider-Man. Only Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Banner, Black Widow, and War Machine remain. Despite their managing to eventually kill Thanos, their victory was empty. There was no way to undo the Snap. This left Black Widow, War Machine, Rocket, Nebula, Captain Marvel, and Okoye as the remaining members trying to maintain order.

Five years later, Ant-Man finally escapes from the Quantum Realm and has the idea to time travel to reverse the Snap. The Avengers assemble once more and begin a Time Heist (aff). They travel to alternate timelines and collected the six Infinity Stones. Returning to their timeline with the Stones, Banner dons the Nano Gauntlet to resurrect those who died in the Snap. However, in an alternate timeline, Thanos and his army follow them which sparks the immense Battle of Earth. Iron Man then gives his life to defeat Thanos and his army. With the battle won and over, the remaining members go their separate ways.

Ingredients

1 pkg double stuffed oreos
2 bags white chocolate ghiradelli melting wafers
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tarter
2 C powder sugar
black gel color

Instructions

Using a double boiler, melt the white chocolate melting wafers
2 bags white chocolate ghiradelli melting wafers
Using a fork, dip in the oreos until fully coated
1 pkg double stuffed oreos, 2 bags white chocolate ghiradelli melting wafers
Place oreos onto a cookie sheet (aff) and let dry for an hour
1 pkg double stuffed oreos
While oreos are drying, using a standing mixer (aff), combine egg whites, cream of tarter, and powder sugar and mix on medium speed until stiff peaks form about 7 minutes
2 egg whites, 1/4 tsp cream of tarter, 2 C powder sugar
Scoop the icing into a piping bag
black gel color
Once the chocolate covered oreo is harden, using the icing, pipe on the detail of the avengers logo onto all of the oreos

Fill in the detail and let icing harden for an hour
