This year, holiday shoppers will be among the first to experience RadioShack’s recently updated stores. I hadn’t been in a RadioShack in quite some time, but I was pleasantly surprised with the updated look my local RadioShack has made. By the end of 2013, RadioShack will have more than 100 concept and brand statement stores open and will have made improvements to nearly all 4,300 stores throughout the nation. The changes are noticeable! My kids were shocked with all the toys they now carry! So far, close to 2,000 stores have completed a “reset” with new paint and interior signage updating to current brand standards. These stores feature bright, completely redesigned interiors and new exterior signage bearing the new RadioShack logo. All stores recently completed a merchandise update designed to deliver a better shopping experience and make room for new products in growing categories.
Now, I originally planned on shopping for other people like my kids. However, our telephone (which we’ve had for about 7 years) decided to quit working. Half the time when it would ring, it wouldn’t allow you to answer it. That is a tad bit frustrating. Plus, when I saw the new phones I was in love. My Christmas present to myself was a new phone for the house!
Now, when we went into RadioShack, we weren’t actually sure what kind of phone we were looking for. The wonderful woman who worked there actually helped us pick out our new phone. It has this awesome cell phone feature that we can answer our cell phones on the new phones handsets! I never even knew this was an option with phones. Now, I wasn’t able to get additional handsets at the store, but she showed me how I can online onto the Radioshack site and order addition ones! Best of all, with the holiday savings you can get at Radioshack right now, we save almost $60 on the phones! How awesome is that?
