Madison was my first child. She has always been stubborn. Even in the womb, she was stubborn. When we were trying to determine her sex, I have an ultrasound picture of her crossing her arms and her legs, so we couldn't tell if she was a boy or a girl. After she was born, she refused to breastfeed. She wouldn't breastfeed for me, she wouldn't breastfeed for the lactation nurses, she wouldn't breastfeed for anyone. I always laugh when people tell you that they'll eventually eat when they are hungry. Well, Madison proves that wrong. We almost ended up hospitalized
when she was a couple of days old. When she refused to breastfeed, I ended up pumping and supplementing with Enfamil.
Madison was also one who had some issues with formula. It constipated her. This is my kid who doesn't go even after drinking prune juice! We did the bicycle thing with her legs. I tried everything anyone ever told me. We eventually ended up on a prescription to help her. However, I would have loved if Enfamil Reguline was around back them. Enfamil® Reguline™ is an everyday infant formula specifically designed to promote soft, comfortable stools and to help support digestive health. Reguline has a blend of two prebiotics clinically proven in Enfamil Infant formula to promote soft stools. Prebiotics are a type of carbohydrate, also found in breast milk, that help feed the good bacteria in the digestive system. Reguline provides complete nutrition and can be used throughout baby’s first year of life. (If you have more product questions, contact Enfamil at 1-800-BABY123). I am sure this would have been life changing for us.
Nothing has changed with Madison's stubbornness. She's 11 now and still stubborn. If your kids are having issues with occasional constipation, visit Reguline.com to learn more and make sure you consult your pediatrician before pursuing any potential solutions.
