Have you ever wondered what goes into making a beloved animated film? I knew you would! From September 29 to October 2nd, I’ll have all the answers when I head to The Good Dinosaur Blogger Event! However, for this trip, I’ll head to San Francisco instead of L.A. for some new adventures!
First, I will be attending a special press day for the In-Home release of INSIDE OUT (available on Blu-ray and Digital HD on 11/3), where I will be interviewing both the filmmakers and voice talent from INSIDE OUT as well as the all-new short film entitled “Riley’s First Date?” Now, I love this movie, so I cannot wait! Inside Out was indeed one of the best family films out there.
I will also attend a reception at Pixar and see THE GOOD DINOSAUR (opening in theatres on 11/25) and a screening of the short film “Sanjay’s Super Team”!

I’ve never seen a Pixar short I haven’t fallen in love with.
I’ll also be interviewing THE GOOD DINOSAUR filmmakers and animators and taking a Pixar tour in San Francisco. (Be still my beating heart!) I will also be traveling to Google Headquarters (yes, Google Headquarters. Happy scream again!) for a screening of Disney Junior’s MILES FROM TOMORROWLAND, followed by a panel focusing on the importance of encouraging kids, especially girls, to explore STEM fields and how entertainment can play an important role.
As you all know, I have an 11-year-old girl, so STEM is important to me. Lastly, we will be touring the Walt Disney Family Museum!
There is just so much fun on the horizon for all of us! What part of this trip to San Francisco sounds like the most fun? Make sure you follow along!

San Francisco is one of my favorite places on earth. I lived there for nearly 10 years. And would go back if it weren’t so darn expensive. Hope you have a great trip.

Awesomeeeee! My daughter loves Inside Out and her fave character is Disgust. I don;t know why. But I told her about this upcoming movie about dinosaurs and she got scared. LOL. I bet when we’re at the movie house already, she’ll like it! I am excited myself. 😀

Oh wow, that is quite the itinerary! I don’t even know which thing I’d pick as my favourite, but interviewing the voice talent of Inside Out is pretty high up there. I can’t wait to hear all about it!
