Easter Recipe: Peeps Hot Chocolate

With the snow we just got, it is not out of the realm of having snow for Easter this year!  That is why you can enjoy some Peeps and stay warm with this recipe!

Ingredients
1 cup quartered Strawberries ( stems removed )
1/3 cup Sugar / add more sugar if Strawberries are not ripe
2 C Whole Milk
1/2 C Nestle white chocolate chips

Directions
Wash and pat dry your strawberries
Slice your strawberries into quarters and remove the stems.
Add your strawberries into a small bowl add your sugar, set to the side for 30 minutes
Place strawberries in food processor and puree.
In a small sauce pan, bring your milk to a boil on medium heat.  
Once boiling, lower the heat to low and add the white chocolate chips stir to melt the chocolate.  Be sure NOT to scorch the milk or chocolate
Once the chocolate is melted add the strawberry puree and cook for 2 more minutes.
Stir until well combined. 
Pour into mug and add toppings: whipped cream, marshmallows, sprinkles, and Peeps!

  1. What a fun drink for Easter! We’re having a cold snap too and this would be perfect for Easter morning. Easter always calls for Peeps and I love how you incorporated them into this festive drink.
