The Potty Patch is an item that falls under “why didn’t I think of that!”. It’s a brilliant product! Basically, the puppy patch is an indoor bathroom for dogs. It is actually three sections. The top portion is made of a soft artificial grass that is designed to let liquid flow through it. The collection tray holds up to a gallon of liquid which allows your dog/puppy to use it multiple times! This works great for puppy potty training, inclement weather, or just an emergency backup! It comes in two different sizes (regular – 17″ x 27″ and large 27″ x 34″) too, so no matter what size your dog is, they can use this! I can see this also working great for people who work and can’t get home to let their dog out! It is available at all PETCO and PetSmart locations and costs $39.99.
Does it work? For us, Daisy (our new puppy) has used it. I didn’t find that it smelled after she went in it, and the tray was very easy to remove and clean.
