On Saturday, May 30th, join me for an unforgettable family event that gives you and your family the opportunity to experience U.S. Cellular Field from a White Sox player’s point of view for a day!  Here are a few things you get to do:

  • Warm up in the bullpens
  • Play catch in the outfield
  • Take a memorable family photo from home plate
  • Participate in a free clinic offered by instructors from the Bulls/Sox Academy
  • Don’t forget to stop by the White Sox Charities Garage Sale. Check out game-used memorabilia, autographed items and White Sox collectibles at discounted prices. The Garage Sale is FREE to attend and open to the public.

Tickets to Family Field Day are $30 for adults and $12 for children (ages 13 and younger)!  There are 3 times you can get tickets for, so you should be able to work it into your busy weekend.

Which one of these activities do you think your family would like the most?

How fun! I love when the major league teams do fun things like this. The Boston Red Sox do stuff like this a few times a year.

  2. Taking a picture from home plate would be awesome! What a great family day adventure! Sounds like a wonderful day and I’d like to do it all.

  3. This would be awesome. My boys LOVE baseball and would love to do something likes. They never have before but it would be such a great time! My hubby takes the boys to games for guys day this would be perfect!

  4. I think a field day would be fun. I’d love to see the suites at our Tigers stadium. It’d be fun to glam it up for a day at the ballpark. 🙂

  5. These sounds like an amazing activity day for the family. My family would probably like the picture but my favorite would be the rummage sale of course . Thanks for sharing.

  7. This is such a great idea and really helps encourage the younger generation to get into baseball! I would love to take my children to something like this, as I think my oldest would love it. Nice to see the Major Leagues giving back a bit, although it would be even NICER if they weren’t charging for the tickets 😛
