Have you seen The Zula patrol on Saturday mornings on NBC? If not, the The Zula Patrol are a bunch of really cool and funny alien creatures: Captain Bula, Professor Multo, pilot Zeeter, space pet Gorga, and twin explorers Wizzy and Wigg. I like this show because they work science and astronomy into it. The kids are learning and don’t even realize they are learning!
The first DVD we looked at is The Zula Patrol: Moon Mayhem. My favorite story from this DVD is when they try to find out if there really is a Man-in-the-Moon. It is definitely something kids wonder! Not only does this makes your kids laugh, it’ll make you laugh too! The episodes included in this DVD are: Moon Struck, Blue Moon, Going Through a Phase, Moons Mayhem, Three Ring Gorga, and Me, Myself and Io.
The Zula Patrol: Animal Adventures in Space! is about exploring insects, reptiles, mammals, plants and rocks. form and interact with each other. Episodes include Larvae or Leave Me, Egg Hunt, There Goes the Neighborhood, Choosing Sides, and Camp Worm. I have to admit we liked when they stopped the “alien invasion” from another planet. There is even a bonus feature on here with 5 sing along songs!
If you love these DVDs, you definitely need to sign up for Zulaworld.com! ZulaWorld.com is a completely safe virtual outer space environment that has activities and destinations on and around planet Zula. For example, here are some new games and features that can now be found in ZulaWorld:
- The planet Mars will be introduced into Zula’s Solar System, filled with new adventures kids can spend hours exploring
- The first in a series of Global Community Missions will launch, calling all kids to join in a search for Zula’s missing fronts – and return them to their rightful home!
- After entering each other’s spaceships with a “secret handshake,” kids can test each others’ skills in a multi-player Tic – Tac – Toe game.
- A multi-player Bumper Ship game will provide all the fun of an amusement park ride – deep in outer space!
- Just in time for school, kids will be able to chart their ZulaWorld.com activities in an Online Journal.
- An Open Chat option will premiere, protected by CRISP Thinking’s acclaimed NetModerator software (parents who don’t wish their kids to participate in Open Chat can opt out).
- Throughout ZulaWorld.com, visitors can look forward to improved functionality in all games/ activities, navigation and other features.
The DVDs are geared towards the 4 and up kids. However, I’d say the website is probably geared more towards the 6 and up set.
Would you love this for your little ones? If so, I have one set of DVDs to give away to a lucky reader and 10 VIP memberships!

My kids love anything space and alien related 🙂
I've seen this show advertised but I've never actually seen it. And neither has my son. I think it's on when he's at school or something (I don't watch tv when he's not here. xD)
