Continued from BlogWorld Chronicles: More Monorail Marvels To Epic Timeshare Delights
After a full day immersed in the whirlwind of BlogWorld, our group split up. Some hailed a cab, while others opted for a ride to New York, New York, for a shared dinner. Finding a parking spot turned into a bit of an odyssey, with the distance feeling like an eternity to cover. Colleen's excitement spurred us to try the roller coaster there, and I decided to join the adventure. Regrettably, I quickly realized that it wasn't a decision I'd make again. An unexpectedly bumpy ride marred the coaster's exhilarating twists and turns. This resulted in Colleen nursing a bruised elbow and myself nursing a conspicuous leg bruise.
Our next destination was the renowned Coyote Ugly, where a meet-up with Michael's brother awaited us, complete with VIP access that he had arranged. The atmosphere perfectly captured the movie's spirit. Though our souvenir photos turned out much darker than intended, the ambiance left a lasting impression. A big shoutout goes to Julie and Michael for making this unique experience happen!
Following our time at Coyote Ugly, we journeyed to Harrah's, where we rendezvoused with fellow bloggers who had also made it to the evening's gathering. The travel boa, a playful accessory that had been a recurring element in the event, made its rounds once again. Practically everyone took a turn donning it, whether for an impromptu photoshoot or to revel in the lighthearted camaraderie it represented. As the night progressed, Mr. Fab and I opted for the monorail ride back to BlogWorld—just a “safety in numbers” case in an unfamiliar place.
While Julie continued to stay at Harrah's, Michael returned to Coyote Ugly to catch up with his brother. By that point, I yearned for some well-deserved rest, feeling the weight of exhaustion from the day's adventures.
