With all the craziness in my life right now, I am still worried about what to get my dad and husband for Father's Day. Since Bill didn't get me anything for Mother's Day, I am considering not getting him anything. LOL. On a more serious note, I've been checking out my most favorite website ever: Best Buy. As my long time readers know, my family and I could live at Best Buy for the amount of time we spend there. (I have a credit card bill from there that can prove it too!). I was searching for some ideas and have come up of a couple we could all use.
The first thing I liked was the Zune MP3 Player. This thing is awesome. It has 80 GB of space. You can get 20,000 songs or 25,000 pictures, or 250 hours of video. If you have this much to put on there, you really need to get out more. As you can tell, you can pretty much put your whole life on there. It only weighs 4.5 oz, so it is seriously lightweight. It supports MP3, WMA, secure WMA and AAC for audio formats, displays JPEG for image formats, and WMV, MPEG-4 and H.264 for video formats. Its built in battery always up to 30 hours of music playback and 4 hours photo and video playback per charge. I don't know a dad who wouldn't want this for Father's Day. Heck, I'm a mom who wouldn't mind getting one of these.
Another cool Father's Day item would have to be this Insignia® – Sport Video MP3 Player with Bluetooth Technology and Fitness Bundle. This would be great for anyone (not only dads!) that are into fitness. You get both a both a sports arm band and a water bottle for use while you're exercising. Bill could even use this when he's doing work on the house! The MP3 player has 2 GB memory and a 1.7″ color LCD screen. It also has a FM radio tuner. One of the coolest features that it has is the ability to remember songs you hear by saving track/artist data from FM radio stations broadcasting RDS data. The battery allows 25 hours of playback time too.
Both these items any father would love. I am pretty sure I am getting Bill the sports video MP3 player (yes, I know he wants a plasma tv, but that's just not going to happen this year!). I could seriously go on for a while with all the great products that Best Buy has to choose from for Father's Day. What do you plan on buying for the “father” in your life?
great ideas – i usually let mine pick his own (and this year he got a car!). very nice blog!
Cool ideas…hmm….thanks for sharing!
It's been so long since I've bought anything for Father's Day that I always forget it when it comes. But man, that Zune player looks like a sweet gift. Anyone would be lucky to get that as a gift, definitely.
I bought my father an array of Mafia movies. He has an unquenchable addiction. lol
I think you should give your sister the mp3 player 🙂
Oh my! I totally forgot Father's Day. I think expensive gifts will not give a father contentment but a son/daughter's love can make him feel contented. Kiss him or hug him 'cause it's his day. 🙂
I don't approve of any MP3 player that isn't an iPod. How can you improve on perfection? Zing!
I'm getting my husband a lawn mower for fathers day. Now he'll need to get to work! But I did get my dad the zuni. I think he'll love it.
Wow great ideas for fathers day. I take it seriously at times like I did just last father's day. I gave my friend a GPS cuz his family doesn't give him much. He liked it. I chose garmin according to the article on magellan vs garmin vs tomtom garmin looks like it tops all.
