CoSchedule Review

I often get asked how do I do it all. My usual answer is that I don't sleep much, but honestly, I try to incorporate tools in my life that make it easier. I also constantly look for new and improved products that allow me to stay on all the social networks without minimal work from me. The main thing is that I need them to work, and a lot of plugins don't work all that well. That's where CoSchedule comes into play.

CoSchedule is a drag-and-drop editorial calendar for WordPress that puts your blog posts and social media messages on the same schedule. If you use WordPress for your blog, you can save time and grow traffic by scheduling blog posts and social media together on a unified drag-and-drop calendar. It's the content marketing calendar that WordPress is missing.

Before that calender completely overwhelms you, let me walk you through how this works. First, just write your post like you normally would. Then you scroll down to where it says Co-Schedule and set up which social networks you want that post sent to. CoSchedule-WordPressEditPost

Now, you can schedule when you want everything going out. You can set it up to post right away and then post again tomorrow or even a month from now. The best thing about CoSchedule is that as you drag a post from one date to another, your social media messages move with it. This allows you to create a series of messages that promote their blog posts on a rolling schedule. I also absolutely love that I can see all my social media work in one place. When I have to report links to companies, it is so much easier to check my calender than to dig through my twitter timeline!

See where it says “show sent messages”. That is where you can get the links. Best of all, CoSchedule integrates with WordPress, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Buffer, and even Google+ Pages. They use to work with Pinterest, but due to issues with Pinterest, they discontinued it till they get the kinks worked out. If for some reason a post doesn't go out, it will turn red on your calender, so you know it didn't send!

CoSchedule is only $10 a month, and I can say it is worth every cent. As a blogger with very little free time, I need anything and everything that makes my life easier. I can honestly say CoSchedule does just that. I'm even able to schedule social media to go out for messages that aren't attached to a post. Best of all, CoSchedule allows you a free trial, so you can see if it works as good in your blogging life as it does mine!
