Honey Edible Slime

My kids love slime. I can't tell you how many times I have found little baggies of it floating around the house, the car, the basement, you know, basically everywhere. It is truly something that all kids seem to love. That's why I was excited to try out some edible versions of slime. No more finding slime everywhere! When the kids are done, they can eat it! Plus, you know that this is made from household ingredients that you put together for nontoxic slime. I know people including myself are looking for slime that isn't made with borax or glue. You don't have to worry about the littlest ones eating slime anymore!

Without further ado, here is how to make honey edible slime (Please note, this is hot so your kids will need adult supervision):

First, pour a bag of Bit O Honeys (unwrapped) into a bowl.

Heat for about 15 seconds a time until its just melted. It will be VERY HOT.

Next, by the tablespoon, add powdered sugar to the bowl and stir.

Keep folding powdered sugar until it starts to form into a ball.

Once no longer hot, take from bowl and knead. (Note: put powdered sugar on your hands to keep from sticking to you).

It feels a bit like taffy and you are done. It's really that easy.

The kids will have a blast playing with their honey edible slime and you'll be the best mom around! I have to admit this is so easy to make we'll be doing it all the time now!
