HoodWinked Too! Hood Vs. Evil

I loved the first Hoodwinked movie. I have to admit it was the best spoof movie out there (and they had a ton of big names doing the voices) at the time. I waited with baited breath for this sequel.

Hoodwinked Too! Hood Vs. Evil does not disappoint. This sequel features the voices of an all star ensemble case including Hayden Panettiere, Joan Cusack, Martin Short, Bill Hader, Amy Poehler, Patrick Warburton, David Alan Grier, Andy Dick, Brad Garrett, Heidi Klum, Wayne Newton, Cheech Marin, Tommy Chong, and Glenn Close. I love that this movie shows the power of girls.

Red is unexpectedly summoned back home in the middle of her training with the mysterious Sisters of the Hood. She gets a call from Nicky Flippers (the head of the super secret Happily Ever After Agency) that a wicked witch has abducted Hansel and Gretel. (Does this story sound familiar to anyone? Anyone?) Red teams up with the Wolf to investigate the disappearance of Hansel and Gretel and as the search gets under way the whole gang decides to lend a helping hand.

Here's the thing — my kids loved this movie. However, I think I liked it even more than them. I can't say that about a lot of kids movies either. However, they did this movie justice, and I recommend watching it!
