It has been a rough couple of days. We had a two day wake and the funeral was this morning. Madison has been as good as could be expected. She really does not get what is going on. It is hard, because what do you tell a three year old? We told her that great grandma went to heaven and that we were saying goodbye. She really didn't question it. We never told her that she was sick. She went up to the casket on Saturday with Bill and told him that great grandma was very very sick. It is really weird how she picked up on that. I guess they notice more than what we think.
I am glad that we can move on from here. Tomorrow is hopefully a better day.
