It’s all about the small stuff – #NSNation Update Week 43 #samp

I swear that my life keeps getting busier and busier. However, I wanted to show you the promo for the web show I did the fashion show for:

Okay, onto the title of my post. Everything is about the small stuff. Little changes you make in your life can lead to big changes in your weight! I've looked at many things I do and have added more exercise to them. For example, I am the BoxTop and Labels For Education Coordinator for my kids school. While counting out the labels, I now stamp and march in place when I can. Now, something that easy isn't burning a ton of calories. However, I am burning more than just sitting for an hour doing it. I also put the Boxtop stuff on one side of the table and the Labels For Education on the other. This forced me to walk around the table quite a few times. 🙂 Regardless, I would have spent an hour counting them. By creating myself a little work, I was able to burn a few more calories.

I am also taking this attitude into Thanksgiving. Since we won't be home, I will be eating Thanksgiving dinner someplace else which requires me to eat what they serve. My biggest demon has always been portion control. However, Nutrisystem, with their meals, have shown me exactly what my portions should look like. I will be using that to help me with Thanksgiving dinner and not overdoing it. I also will be Black Friday shopping. I'll be doing a lot dancing in line to keep warm which will help burn calories too.

Lastly, about the small stuff — can I tell you how nice it is to walk into a store and fit into the stuff there? Granted, I am not into a size small yet (except for one shirt I just bought), but we are slowly but surely getting there!

After a no losing week last week, I am back on track again with a 2.2 lb weight loss. I have a feeling these last 20 – 30 lbs will be this way — on and off of weeks losing. However, as long as that number goes down, I don't care!

How are you spending your Thanksgiving? Will you be watching your portions also?

THIS WEEKS WEIGHT LOSS: 2.2 lbs
TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS: 70.2 lbs
