I didn’t do anything for the awareness month, simply because of circumstances. I spent many years though volunteering at the local domestic violence shelter. There really is more need than can be met, and a lot of women do not receive any help at all.

I hate domestic violence and if I have to wear purple everyday to show my support I will. I don’t know how people can handle that. Help should be always there and thanks to Verizon for taking part in this cause. Nice giveaway btw.

Domestic violence is such a tough topic but I’m happy to see that we are finally talking about it. I am happy to support the movement and share the discussion I’ve had my own experience with domestic violence.

My mother was a survivor of Domestic Abuse so this program is near and dear to me. I will be making a gift basket donation to our local women’s shelter by the end of the month to do just a little something to help out.
