Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, combine water, crushed tomataoes and diced tomatoes.
Cover the bottom of a 9x13x2 inch baking pan with 1 1/2 cups of sauce mx.
Arrange 1/3 of noodles on top of the sauce, slighly overlapped.
Top with 1/2 of ricotta cheese, 1/2 of mozzarella cheese, and 1 cup of sauce.
Repeat the layers, then top with the last 1/3 of the noodles and remaining sauce. Sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Cover tighly with foil and bake for 1 - 1 1/2 hours until noodles are cooked.
Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
This recipe is for 12 servings, but you can divide the recipe into two 9x9 in baking dishes and freeze one.
