If you’ve never been to a minor league game, you’re missing out. Kraft treated us to a Kane County Cougars game, and we had such a great time. Tickets were very affordable, and we landed amazing seats without breaking the bank. The Minor League Baseball atmosphere was perfect for families. Ozzie the mascot kept the crowd laughing, there were plenty of activities to keep the kids busy between innings, and we even spotted a Kid Zone (we’ll definitely check that out next time!). Food and snacks were a little pricey, but no more than any other ballpark. And the best part? The Cougars won!

To top it off, there was a fireworks show that honestly rivaled some of the city displays I’ve seen. Set to music, it was an unforgettable end to the night. Afterward, the kids even got to run the bases, which added to their Minor League Baseball experience. This is a highlight they’re still talking about.

My husband and I agreed we’ll definitely be back. The Cougars really know how to make Minor League Baseball an affordable, fun, family-friendly outing. With Kraft’s BOGO ticket deal, it’s even easier to bring the whole crew.

Have you been to a Kane County Cougars game or another minor league matchup near you? What was your Minor League Baseball experience like, and would you go back, especially with Kraft’s offer, making it even more budget-friendly?

  1. I've never been to a minor league game, but I've heard about the fun family atmosphere. With the price of major league games and food going so high, this sounds like a great alternative.

  2. A couple of summers ago we went to a Reading phillies game. it was fun and very family oriented but mostly toward younger kids and mine are teens. but the cheap beer was good!
