Ahoy Mateys!

074 Yes, I really am okay. 🙂 I realize it's Friday night, and with this title, you may think I had too much to drink. Instead, I am just tired and waiting to fill you in on my exciting trip that I took on Wednesday. I was invited to go on Lands End's yacht for a little trip in Lake Michigan. It was definitely cool. I had never been on a yacht before (and that goodness for the gum I was chewing, because I know I would have been sick otherwise.) Kim from Hormone Colored Days and Dawn from Because I Said So were my mates aboard.

Needless to say, I really enjoyed myself. Now, the sunburn on feet not so much and the blisters on the bottom of my feet (which I got from walking 6 blocks in my dress sandals which I will never again!) not so much also. I had great company, and I learned a lot about Lands End!

I wanna go on a yacht too! I would kill to have the money to have a big boat, and enough to pay people to look after it for me 🙂 Sun burns and blisters suck though 🙁 Use plenty of moisturizer all over and feel better soon.

  3. I went on a boat to go Dolphin watching when we were in Panama City Beach (courtesy of Veggie Tales) and I will never get on a boat again unless it's a cruise ship! Glad you had a good time. Chicago will forever be my home in my heart!

That's a pretty impressive yacht you have there! I'm glad you enjoyed the trip. I suddenly missed my little nephew. He used to be afraid of the water and being on a boat. But when he got in for the first time, he realized there was nothing to worry about, and he got so giddy and excited! We had so much fun that time.
