Olivia's Birds

Can one person make a difference? I like to think so, and so does Olivia Bouler. Olivia wrote Olivias Birds to save the gulf. She alone has raised $150,000 via the Audubon's Gulf Oil spill recovery program. In this campaign, she sent every donor one of her own bird paintings (many of which are included in this book).

I like to teach my kids that they can make a difference. This books shows that they can. My 7 year old loves Olivia's story. Olivia reached for the stars with this, and now my daughter knows she can too! I love that this book includes everyday ways kids can help. Olivias Birds also includes bird facts, hand drawn illustrations, and photos. Over 50 different birds are included in this book. It also is written in a kids voice, so Madison could read it with no problems.

Olivias Birds reminds us all that we can make a difference.
