Schleich Review and Giveaway!

This giveaway is now closed. The winner is Renee. Congrats!

My kids and I are huge Schleich fans. I've done a review on them before (and I've got some set up to happen in the future too!), and like always, they do not disappoint. Schleich is one of those brands that you know you will have quality materials and quality workmanship from. Between the kids and the dog, our figures have been to hell and back and are still in great shape. I can only highly recommend them which is why I have to tell you about Schleich's 75th anniversary. This September (I know, it's October but I had eye surgery and couldn't see till now to get this up!) participating retailers will feature Schleich Airplanes in specially-marked boxes with the 75th Anniversary jubilee symbol, that also includes a voucher to redeem a collectible FREE and EXCLUSIVE zebra-striped figure—a pig, giraffe, penguin or kangaroo. These specialty marked airplane boxes with vouchers will be sold through 2010, based on availability at participating specialty toy stores. We have one of these planes, and they are awesome! It was fairly easy to assemble, and I think it's pretty realistic (I haven't been on too many of these kinds of planes to compare to). We've also had a super fun time playing with it. The Airplane comes with a pilot and has cockpit doors, fright bay, engine compartment and more. It portrays the type of traditional fixed wing prop-plane commonly seen in the widest regions of Africa, the Australian Outback and the plains of Argentina.

I don't have an airplane to giveaway to one of my lucky readers. However, I do have a collection of wild animals worth a minimum retail value of $25! Here's what you need to do:

Head over to the Schleich site and tell me which wild life you'd be interested in! Do you like sharks? Or wolves? Or even a gnu? Or would a bison be better?
