What’s your favorite gameshow?

For me, this is an easy question.  I am a Jeopardy fan especially when it is teen week (which is about the only time I know a good number of answers).  For me, I choose Jeopardy for several reason.  First, it makes you use your brain.  On that show, being smart is a good thing.  You don’t see people having to do stupid stunts to be able to make money.  I also have a family connection to it.  As a kid, we actually played this as a family.  My mom would keep score, and we would see who did the best every day.  It’s those kinds of memories that make me love the show even more.  My kids are too little to watch Jeopardy, but I hope when they get older that I can play against them too.

Now, I am a Press Your Luck fan too.  Who can resist the Whammy guys?

What’s your favorite game show and why?

Where are they now: Steve Burns

Anybody who was born in the 90′s or who have had kids in the last ten years knows all about Blue’s Clues.  When it first started, Steve was the one we got to watch on the show with Blue.  However, halfway through its run, he decided to leave.  Due to a fun conversation that took place on Twitter this morning, I was to find out what Steve has been up to.  He left Blue’s Clues to start a music career, and it looks like he did just that.  However, I am glad to see that he still does some kids music too (see second video).

Though I do still find it weird to look at him with facial hair and a bald head. What do you think?

Izeafest: Night 3 – IzeaHunt

I would like to say that I was sober for the entire time I was at Izeafest.  I ended up as the driver 2 out of the 3 nights, and I really don’t believe in drunk driving.  That being said I did do the IzeaHunt without anything alcohol in me.  We had to do a ton of wild and crazy things.  What was at stake?  A $100 gift card for Home Depot for all of us.  When money is on the line, well, you do crazy things.  Honestly I wish I would have brought some other outdoor clothing with.  My clothes were almost destroyed from this scavenger hunt.  It took several washings once I got home to get the shaving cream and chocolate sauce out!

For some reason, I cannot find my team photos on Flickr at all.  What I will do is show you some of the other teams instead.  You will see how crazy this really did get:

Ohh I take that back, I did find one and you can’t see me (yeah! — I’m in the blue shirt):
