Toy Story 3 Disney On Ice: An Awesome Pixar-perfect Spectacle You’ll Love

Toy Story 3 Disney On Ice

Chicago has had a rough couple of days. The third largest snowstorm (20+ inches) hit our area. However, a glimmering light at the end of the tunnel must be the Toy Story 3 show we saw last night (we’ll forget the 2 1/2 hours it took to get there. Needless to say, I wouldn’t say I like driving in Chicago). I don’t know how Disney does it, but Toy Story 3 Disney On Ice had to be the best Disney On Ice show we’ve seen. It was beyond incredible.

It’s okay if you’ve not seen any Toy Story movies. They laid out the story very well and followed the movie exceptionally well. I wondered how it would play out on ice, and it was just as good as the movie!

Toy Story 3 On Ice had all of our favorite characters in it. You, of course, had your characters that were in the first two movies, like Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head and Slinky Dog. When I asked Will his favorite part of the movie, his response was Woody and Buzz! (He then told me they swung on the ice. I’m unsure if he meant skated, but he thought they were swinging. We are just going with it.)

Madison and my favorite part of the Toy Story 3 Disney On Ice show had to be Barbie and Ken. It was funny. Bill’s favorite part of the show was Ken, too. He’s just so corny that it is pretty funny.

Our thoughts? Run to Toy Story 3 Disney On Ice. It is that awesome. I would pay to see it again. I can’t wait to see what Disney comes out with for next year because this will be hard to top! (On a side note, Disney needs to release a soundtrack for this show. Madison kept hitting me because I was singing along with it! I certainly would buy it!). My kids loved it, my husband loved it, and I loved it!

  1. I've yet to see anything on ice. It might just be time to start. This really looks like something that my boys will love.

It looks like your family had a great time. Too cool!

  2. Jealous!!! Although, we haven't even seen the Toy Story 3 movie yet. 🙁 I have heard so many good things about it, but it is hard to get my three from 11 to 4 to agree on the same things. LOL!

  3. The pictures are amazingly beautiful.. I like toy story.. so fun to watch.. even my 3 years old son love to watch them..
