Thor Movie Magazine

In support of Marvel Studios’ Thor: The Mighty Avenger, Disney Publishing Worldwide’s U.S. Magazine division has created a special interest movie magazine for comic fans of all ages to enjoy. This 96-page publication takes readers behind the scenes of the new hit movie, featuring a wide range of content, including posters, an exclusive Thor comic, interviews with the stars and creative team, as well as concept art used by the Studio for the film.

We actually had seen the magazine before the movie, so I can honestly say that as a standalone magazine this was a hit. My husband and daughter loved it! It is why my daughter was so disappointed to find out my husband and I went and saw the movie without her (in our defense, we went and saw it for our anniversary). The magazine is just jam packed with something for everyone: interviews with the cast and director, meet the sons of Asgard, quizzes and games, behind the scenes, timeline of Thor's comic history, etc. There are even pinups (and I wouldn't mind hanging the pinup of Chris Hemsworth up! Just don't tell my husband!)

Now, having the seen the movie, this is a great companion to it! If you have a comic fan in your house, this is a must have! If you saw Thor and loved it, you need this too!
