My family has always been full of SuperHero fans, so the minute we heard about BonkaZonks, I knew we had to give them a try. Anything that combines action, competition, and our favorite Marvel characters is automatically a win in our house. We recently got our hands on the Captain America Case set, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.
First of all, my kids were instantly hooked on these spinning, smashing whirlwind warriors. Our 4-pack of BonkaZonks Marvel spinners included Hulk, Thor, Loki, and Captain America, which felt like the ultimate lineup for our crew. We are big fans of all four characters, so there was no arguing over who got who… at least not for long!
The concept sounds simple enough: you launch your spinner toward a target and try to knock it down or land in the stunt circle. Easy, right? Not even close. After a solid round of cheering, shouting, and competitive banter, I realized this game takes great skill. You have to master your aim, control your spin, and learn how much force to use. It quickly turned into a full family competition, and yes, I had to jump in and try it myself. It’s much harder than it looks, which is exactly why it keeps everyone coming back for more.
What makes it even more fun are the included stunt cards. These give you tricks and challenges to level up your game and keep things interesting. Instead of just spinning randomly, the kids started strategizing and practicing different techniques to improve their shots. It adds a layer of skill and creativity that makes the game last much longer than a typical toy.
I also love the storage aspect. The face case container holds 10 or more accessories (with additional accessories sold separately), so everything stays together instead of scattered across the house. The set includes the face case container, 4 exclusive BonkaZonks figures, a stunt circle, game code, and stunt card — everything you need to start battling right away.
The whole “build your army” concept really clicked with my kids. Your BonkaZonks fighters are on your team, and you add to your collection to take on opponents in an all-out spinning frenzy. It turns into a mix of strategy, skill, and a little bit of chaos — in the best possible way.
Best of all, this is a super fun new game that requires zero batteries. No charging, no screens, just hands-on action and good old-fashioned competition. In a world full of electronic toys, that feels refreshing.
We are already eyeing the Spider-Man BonkaZonks set for our next addition. If you have superhero-loving kids (or competitive parents), this is definitely one to check out!
