Does Nutrisystem Work? Here’s My Perspective For Week 31

does nutrisystem work

I’ll probably earn a few bucks if you purchase something after clicking on the links in this post. We aren’t talking about enough for a mansion or yacht but more like chocolate and wine. And if I mention a product, I may have gotten a sample and possibly a cash payment. Remember that all Thoughts, Ideas, and Ramblings are 100% my own and may not represent your experience.

Since I started my weight loss journey in January, I knew I was in this for the long haul. I have often talked about changing your mindset to take on a journey like this and that you are ahead as long as you aren’t gaining. Unlike fad diets, Nutrisystem isn’t going to have you lose 100 pounds in a month. Instead, they want you to lose it slowly and steadily. That’s why many people want to know if Nutrisystem works.

Last week till now, I didn’t lose anything. Amazingly, I am not letting it get me down. I know I am losing inches. I know that I have kicked butt to this point. I also know I need to work harder this week. I also know that 3 weeks ago, I lost nothing, and that last 2 weeks, I lost over 2 lbs a week.

I never thought I’d make it to 50 lbs when I started. I didn’t have faith in myself. However, I’ve done it with the help of Nutrisystem and all of you in my support system! I know we all have weeks like this and I won’t let it get me down!

(Since I’m turning lemons into lemonade right now, I will use that my fridge died as part of my exercise routine this week. We had to empty the fridge last night and put everything in the fridge downstairs. Now, I must run upstairs if we need anything. That can only help, right? LOL)

Slow and steady wins the race — and I’ll have an awesome weigh-in next week!

THIS WEEKS WEIGHT LOSS: 0 lbs
TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS: 58 lbs

  1. Hi Lisa

Wow you're doing great! Losing weight is good, but don't get hung up on how many pounds you lose or gain. Muscle weighs more then fat so as you gain muscle and lose fat the scales often discourage people. Think more in the terms of how your clothes fit and it's an awesome feeling when you put on your usual jeans and they are loose! Keep up the good work!

  2. Keep up the great work! I lost 9 lbs and then on week two I gained 2 back and didn't cheat once. I'm a little bummed and unsure why since I am working out and drinking only water. But I know that it will take dedication and patience so I am sticking to it.
