A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, the Tusken Raiders of Tatooine warmed up beside their banthas on cold desert nights, but we like to think they were also sipping something a little more delicious. Bantha Cocoa is the rich, creamy, indulgent hot chocolate inspired by the beloved woolly creatures of Star Wars, and it’s the perfect drink for any Jedi, Sith, or smuggler looking to cozy up on a chilly evening. Whether you’re hosting a Star Wars marathon, celebrating May the 4th, or just want a galaxy-worthy twist on classic hot cocoa, this recipe is out of this world.

STAR WARS Bantha Cocoa
Ingredients
- 4 cups milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 8 oz. white chocolate chips
- 2 drops Blue food coloring
- whipped cream
Instructions
- Stir together milk, vanilla, food coloring and white chocolate in a medium saucepan.
- Cook over medium-low heat, stirring often, until the white hot chocolate is melted and comes to a simmer. Do not let it boil.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately, topped with whipped cream.

Whether you’re a seasoned Jedi Master or just a Padawan in the kitchen, Bantha Cocoa is one recipe that’s sure to bring the whole galaxy together. It’s warm, it’s cozy, and it’s just nerdy enough to make any Star Wars fan smile. So raise your mug, channel your inner Tusken Raider, and may the Force be with you. Always.

My kids (and hubby) would love this! So excited for the new movie!!!
Made it tonight and it’s delicious!
Just a quick question though.
The Bantha is a desert, summer creature. Shouldn’t this be Taun Taun cocoa?
