How have you included music in your life this summer? For Bill and I, we are currently working out more at the gym and great music has definitely become part of that. We play music on all of our road trips too (and there may be some singing involved too). Music is a big part of our life. As you can see, we even play music in our bed!

Now, who hasn't used their Pringles® cans as instruments? I know we do all the time. We even have a Pringles® speaker! (It's the one Pringles® can that Will isn't playing drums on!) They have challenged music sensation M4Sonic and a group of musicians of varying styles and backgrounds – called the Percussion Prodigies – to incorporate the brand’s iconic can into their musical expression. Make sure you check out the Percussion Prodigies’ videos at Pringles.com/music for inspiration on how to make your own Pringles® can instrument! Make sure you share your creations with #PringlesSummerJamSweeps.

Will you be eating Pringles® this summer? How does music play a role in your summer? Lastly, have you turned your Pringles® can into an instrument before?

That is a neat way to use those old Pringles cans. We usually just chuck them, but I might save them for the kids next time 🙂

  2. That’s a great idea! I’m thinking that if you cut the cans to different lengths, you could get different tones, too!

  3. Christy Maurer

Looks like he is sure having fun! My son is a guitar player, but he started out with pots and pans 🙂 Anything can become a great instrument if you put you mind to it!

  4. Melissa Pezza

I’ve got to do this for my son! He loves to bang on any and everything he can find.

  5. Megan Elford

We LOVE Pringles, and this is a great promotion! I’ve never seen that Pringles speaker before though. Where did you get yours?

  6. Liz Mays

What a great way to have a bit more fun with your Pringles. It’s really cool that you made one into a speaker.

This is an awesome idea to turn the Pringle cans into little drums. We love Pringles and I am going to have to buy some more to do this for my niece and nephews. This sounds like a great promotion indeed. Thanks for sharing.

  8. mykidsguide

We love Pringles! This sounds like a great contest. I will have to remember not to throw out the cans. I’m sure my kids would love to jam with the cans.

What a fun way to re-use Pringles cans! We use them for storage and craft ideas.

  10. Nickida

That’s such a cool idea for re-using the old cans instead of just dropping them in the trash or recycling bin. I’ll have to remember that the next time we get some Pringles.

  11. This is such a cute idea! I’ve always loved Pringles and using their cans for other things after you’re finished was always a fun thing for me to do as a child! I’m quite sure that my son would love to use them as drums as well!

  12. Fun! We dont eat chips often but when we do we head for Pringles because I know I am not buying a bag of air and broken chips. Plus, they have really awesome flavors and varieties.

  14. Ron

Awesome idea! You can also tape up all the pringles cans to create some sort of mini drums.

Music is nearly always on in the background at our house. It’s a great way to pass on traditions to kids and give a touchstone to use later in life.

  17. Victoria

This is a great idea. I never would have thought of using Pringles for music.
