You may remember when I went to LA in November to see that little movie that came out. I mean, it was a movie that may not have come across the nation and drive the kids absolutely wild. Your kids probably still aren't singing “Let It Go” and asking if “you'd like to build a snowman”. Yes, my last trip to LA was to go see Frozen. It was amazing, so I obviously jumped at the chance to allow all of you guys to join me when I travel to LA again! This trip — there will be so much to do! I will be leaving July 16th and returning July 19th. Yes, for those of you who know me in real life, I will be gone over Bill's birthday. (He did request that I try and find him some Guardians of The Galaxy figures while I'm there. No, this is not my 7 year old son asking — it's my soon to be 37 year old husband!) Here's just a few of the things you'll be following along with:
Guardians of the Galaxy
Bill is dying to see this film, so he is a tad jealous that I can't stuff him in my suitcase and take him along with me. I will be interviewing some of the cast and filmmakers from the movie! They haven't told us who yet, but I'd be thrilled to interview any of them! (Especially Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, or Bradley Cooper. My heart is beating fast just thinking about it!)
The Hundred Foot Journey
While in town, I will also attend a special advance screening of The Hundred Foot Journey (opening in theatres on 8/8) followed by an interview with actor Manish Dayal.
Le Cordon Bleu Los Angeles
Wait . . . what? Yes, I get to take a cooking lesson at the Le Cordon Bleu Los Angeles that is inspired by the film! As somebody who doesn't exactly know her way around the kitchen, I'm totally excited about this!!
Alexander and The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
I read this book to my kids, so I am beyond excited to see it on the big screen!
Big Hero 6
My husband is also totally jealous that I will be able to preview footage from the upcoming Walt Disney Studios animated release Big Hero 6 (opening in theatres on 11/7) including a Q&A with the filmmakers! (What little I've seen of this looks amazing!)
So that all totally sounds awesome right? Wait . . . . . . there's more!
ABC Family
We love ABC Family, so I'm totally excited that we will be meeting a few of the cast from not one, not two, but 3 of the shows they have!
First, we have a stop at the set of the new TV show Mystery Girls (Wednesdays at 7:30/8:30 pm EST). (The is why my sister is most excited about!) We will be ableobserve production and meet starsTori SpellingandJennie Garth! (Yes, of Beverly Hills 90210 fame.)
We will also have an introduction to the cast of new TV show Young & Hungry (Wednesdays at 7:00/8:00pm EST).
Lastly, we will also have an introduction to the cast of the new hit drama Chasing Life (Tuesdays at 8:00pm/9:00pm EST). To be honest, this show just totally speaks to me. It's about living life to its fullest, because who knows what tomorrow will bring.
WHEW! Yes, I am going to be having whirlwind of fun next week! What would you be most excited to do?
