What do you look for in your hair products? What type of hair do you have? What do you struggle with the most when it comes to your hair? For me, I am looking for something easy to use. I want something that can handle all of the weird weather we have in Chicago (some days I swear we go through all 4 seasons – especially this time of year). I have fine hair, but a lot of it. It also tends to be a little dry. Right now, my biggest complaint is how frizzy and fly away it is. That is why I was excited to try out Living Proof.

Living Proof was founded by world- class scientists in Cambridge, M A. They discovered two proprietary ingredients that have never before been used in beauty: with a healthy hair molecule called O FPMA. In October 2012, Actress Jennifer Aniston joined Living Proof as co-owner and hair care spokesperson (and seriously, who doesn't love her hair or want her hair for that matter?)

The new PhD (Perfect hair Day) line includes a shampoo (aff), conditioner, and 5-in-1 Styling Treatment. These all deliver smoothness, volume, conditioning, strength, and polish all in one set. The PhD shampoo (aff) and conditioner are a routine changing duo that keeps hair cleaner, longer reducing the need to wash your hair as often. These are sulfate-free, oil-free and
silicone-free. After using the PhD shampoo and conditioner, you can apply 5-in-1 Styling Treatment to your damp hair and blow dry or air dry. It will create smoothness, volume, strength, conditioning, and polish as well as heat protection, UV protection, and static control. This is also oil-free and silicone-free. For the most volume, blow dry your hair with a round brush to enhance volume and body or blow dry with a flat brush to create a smooth, polished blowout.

My thoughts on these products? I love them. I noticed from the first time using them a huge difference in my hair. My hair doesn't have all those little frizzies anymore that use to drive me nuts. When going out, I have found that when I do my hair it holds longer. I don't even have to wash my hair every day if I don't want too (I put that to the test this last weekend when we went camping and really didn't have access to a shower.) I can honestly say that I am impressed with these products so far. I recommend that you all take the PhD challenge with me by signing up on the Living Proof website!
