One of the things I learned on my trip to LA was that most of celebrities we met were really down to earth. That goes for the moms I met too: Marlee Matlin (“Switched at Birth”), Constance Marie (“Switched at Birth”), Holly Marie Combs (“Pretty Little Liars”) and Laura Leighton (“Pretty Little Liars”).MARLEE MATLIN, LAURA LEIGHTON, HOLLY MARIE COMBS, CONSTANCE MARIE

When we got to talk to these amazing ladies, it wasn't an interview. It was more like a conversation with them, because we were all sitting at tables and eating appetizers together.

MARLEE MATLIN

To be honest, I was most excited to meet Marlee Matlin. To make it in this business, she would have to be a strong woman and that she was. It was interesting to hear her take on parenting. I even learned that she's originally from Chicagoland! I had no idea. She was super nice and relatable.

MARLEE MATLIN

Constance Marie was beyond funny. She talked about how she only has a 5 year old and how her ovaries wouldn't be doing any more work. She made me laugh, and I love how her and Marlee were signing to one another. Constance actually learned to sign for the show! You could tell that Marlee and her were good friends. They picked on each other quite a bit (lots of Spanx jokes!). She was totally real and fun!

CONSTANCE MARIE

Holly is the mother of 3 boys (Finley, Riley, and Kelley) and Laura has two children. We discussed work/family balance and how playing moms really work well for them. They don't have to spend countless hours on set. Laura even ran and got a beer for one of the bloggers who got stung by a bee while we were talking! Total mom move, right!?!

LAURA LEIGHTON, HOLLY MARIE COMBS

All these ladies were absolutely amazing to talk too! Each had their own take on parenting in Hollywood. However, we all were moms (and dads) and could totally relate to each other. It was pretty cool!

What question would you have asked these amazing ladies?
