After a crazy holiday weekend, I have a video and a post for you all! (Please forgive the sweaty hot look I've got going. It's been almost a hundred today again, and I spent the day running around to different stores.)
The cool thing that the video shows is that the shorts I bought today were a size 16. When I started my Nutrisystem journey, I was wearing a 24W. I am almost to the point of being able to shop at regular stores. I even tried on a swim coverup at Kohls that was super cute. However, they only had it in a 2XL, and it was too big!!! I'm hoping to hit the Kohls closer to me tomorrow, and see if they have a smaller size. It is so cool to be able to go into a store and actually fit in clothes! OHHH and the pants I was talking about (the preweight loss pants), here they are:
Another change (besides my size) that I am going to be doing is adding in some more exercise. At this point, I'm going to Zumba once a week (once class burns around 1000 calories). However, Bill and I moved the Bowflex in the house, and I'm hoping to add a little weight training in. I am a little worried that the weight training may slow down my weight loss (since muscle weighs more than fat). However, I think it is a needed addition, and hopefully I can tighten up some of this skin I've got and get some definition!
This week's weight loss was a bit disappointing at .8 lbs. However, I spent last week hungry for some reason and did indulge in some extra popcorn and some extra salad dressing the nights I couldn't take it anymore. For me, even though I was “cheating”, I was snacking on healthy choice instead of grabbing a bag of Doritos. That being said, I still lost .8 lbs (and considering I lost 2 (aff).4 lbs last week, I am really not going to complain too much).
THIS WEEKS WEIGHT LOSS: .8 lbs
TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS: 41 lbs

I think you are doing a fabulous job. I'm so proud of you! I think adding some more exercise will do wonders for you. 🙂 Keep it up!
Woo Hoo! Just in time for summer too!!!
You are doing great. The weights will help define you more. Keep up the good work!
You look like the After photos in the weight loss ads or commercials. Great job!
I'll be honest — that's where I got the idea from 🙂
Congrats! You look great! I just lost a ton of weight too (36 pounds) and had to go shopping for all new stuff. It was so much fun!
love that pic. I am saving my pants from my before pic and hoping to get a similar pic eventually!! I snuck past you this week I'm at 42lbs but if my normal trend continues I'll pop back up 1 or 2 this week. But I've only gone from a 26 to a 22. But I still love the difference. I know I have a long way to go but I dont hate my reflection anymore.
You'll get one. 🙂 I still can't see the weight change on myself, but I definitely can see in those old jeans!
wow. that is so awesome. keep up the amazing work, truly something you should be SO proud of!
Oh wow. That's a lot of work you're putting in, and congrats on reaching goals! And oh YES does Zumba ever burn the calories. I'm always amazed when I look at my heart rate monitor after a class. As for muscle? Don't forget that muscle burns calories just by being there, so weight training is a huge benefit even if it slows your initial weight loss by a bit. Good luck!
OMG i love how smaller you are compared to those pants!!
That photo of you with the pants really puts it into perspective about how much you've accomplished…amazing…so so happy for you!
Congrats on your success!!!! Keep it up girlie!!!!
Congratulations Lisa on your weight loss efforts!
I'm glad to see there are more people out there who are actually taking action and going after their goals. Even if it's something small like 5 pounds etc. I really applaud people who do that, I have a new website http://rmrcalculator.info
that I'd like you to take a look at when you get the chance.
I'd really appreciate it thanks!
