Tangled: Disney Movie Review

Since I've review a few Tangled books already, I thought I'd better give you all my thoughts on the movie.

My family and I were lucky enough to see a sneak preview about a month before the movie was released. A brief synopsis:

Right before her 18th birthday, Rapunzel wants to be let out of her tower where she has been kept since she was a baby. However, the woman who Rapunzel thinks is her mother says no due to the restorative powers of Rapunzel's hair. However, as you learn (SPOILER ALERT), Rapunzel is really the long lost daughter of the king and queen. You learn as she learns her true destiny.

It is an awesome story. My favorite characters have to be the horse (Maximus) and the chameleon (Pascal). They bring a lightness to the story and will make you giggle throughout the movie. My family and I (this includes my husband) loved it. My husband and I both said we would love to go see it again. That is how good it is. The story is top notch, the animation is top notch, and it can hold the attention of both a 3 (aff) year old and a 5 year old.

This is a must see movie this holiday season!

  1. We took the kids to see this movie over the weekend and we all loved it. It was a really cute movie and I got to hear Zachary Levi's voice throughout the entire film!

  2. I can't wait to take my daughter to see this. I wish it was rated G, but I have heard from others besides you that it is okay for younger kids. Thanks for the review!
