Top Trumps Review

War has been upgraded to the 21st century! Top Trumps is a war card game with a twist. 2-6 people can play. You deal out all 30 cards face down to each of the players. Each player holds their cards face up but may ONLY look at their top card. The player to go first chooses the ‘best’ statistic (usually the highest) from their top card. We have the dinosaur game, so I would pick something like weight. You read out your statistic. All the other players then read out the SAME statistic, and whoever has the best or highest value wins and places all the top cards including their own to the bottom of their pile. They then choose the statistic for the next round. The first player to win all 30 cards is the winner of the game!

The game is really that easy! Madison loves playing it, and Will just loves looking at the awesome graphic on the card. They have sooooo many varieties to pick from too. We have the dinosaur game, but you can pick from everything from Star Wars to Harry Potter to Military Jets to Bugs. Whatever your and your child's interest is, I'm sure they have a game for it! I also love that it come with a case to keep the cards in which make it super easy to travel with. We even played this in the car (on the way to Green Bay for Christmas). It definitely helped pass the time, and we had a lot of fun!

If you are looking for a great game with a twist, check out Top Trumps!
