Calvin Can't Fly: The Story of a Bookworm Birdie

I have to admit — Calvin Cant Fly: The Story of a Bookworm Birdie is a book that made me laugh. My kids and I enjoyed reading about how much Calvin liked reading. Reading is something we try and do daily in our house, so a book that promotes reading automatically get two thumbs up. However, the plot carries the story along (pun intended), and you get to find out that all the reading the Calvin did instead of learning to fly really pays off!  The illustrations truly help the story and made us laugh even more (especially the picture with all the birds on the electric line.  We often see that by our house, so my kids could relate).

Calvin Cant Fly: The Story of a Bookworm Birdie is a great kids book.  They will laugh and have a new appreciation for reading afterwards!
