I love Inception. It is one of my most favorite movies of all time. It was done so well, so I was extremely excited to find out that the directors of that film are the same ones doing Interstellar! I am very picky about what movies I want to see and Interstellar has definitely made my list!

Haven't heard of Interstellar yet? The quick synopsis is that with our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history; traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars. The cast includes Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Bill Irwin and Ellen Burstyn. This looks like such a great family friendly film. I know that from the previews I've seen so far, it looks absolutely amazing. The story of family gets to me every time (seriously, there is one preview scene that just brings tears to my eyes where he is hugging his kids and then there is the scene where his coworkers asks if he's told his kids he might not come back. Gets me every single time). I've also seen interviews with Matthew McConaughey, and the way he talks about this film is amazing. You can tell that its a work of love for him. The themes in this film can truly relate back to what us parents go through. I can only imagine that it's what our soldiers go through when they have to go off and protect us. Also, who wouldn't want a cleaner, better Earth for our kids to grow up in? Lastly, Matthew McConaughey is some eye candy who I don't mind seeing on the big screen. However, this film has such a great cast that I love.
Paramount Motion Pictures “Interstellar” will be in IMAX theaters on November 5th and everywhere else starting November 7th. Yes, this week!

I have seen “Interstellar”, too. Although I liked it (mainly the drama parts), I prefer “Inception” way more. I saw “Interstellar” due to the Christopher Nolan (director) hype. It might not be the best movie of the year, but it’s better than its mediocre reputation. It’s definitely worth seeing.
