There are good weeks. There are bad weeks. Then there are weeks like last week where I worked my butt off and stuck to the plan, and I lose nothing. If you regularly read this blog, you’ll know I did the Pretty Muddy run (and I still have the shin splints to show for it). I thought for sure I’d lose a lot this week, and ended up with a zero weight loss. I’m trying to not let it get me down, because the real challenge is going to be this week.
I leave tomorrow for a blogging trip. The reason I titled this week’s post what I did is because I won’t have any control what I eat for the next couple of days. My meals are pretty much preplanned for me. My blogging trip is Tuesday and Wednesday. Then Thursday, I have a blogging breakfast downtown. Then Friday my brother-in-law gets married and for what they are paying for the plates, I have to eat some of the food. Yeah, I have a crazy week ahead of me.
How am I going to get through this? Lots of prayer! LOL I’m kidding (well, a little). I’m going to put into use everything I have learned over these last 34 weeks. Nutrisystem has taught me that it is about good food choices and portion control. Since I won’t have a whole lot of control over the food choice, I plan on watching the portion control as much as I can. I am hoping to get some workouts in there too. I also look at it this way — I have either lost nothing or lost pounds in the last 34 weeks. If I have one horrible week, I just get back on that horse and work even harder when I get home and back to my normal life (unlike my crazy life this week!). I’m still working towards not gaining anything this next week. I’m still down 61 lbs.
Any advice or motivation for me this week? (Besides lots of caffeine? LOL) Leave them in the comments, and I’ll be reading them to keep my sanity!

61 lbs is so exciting, and you are running in marathons! omg. I can't run. Well not without seriously hurting something, but that is coming! Congrats
One thing I do to help control the amount I eat is to drink a glass of water before a meal, another during, and another after. It helps a lot when you have no control over what your meals are.
Aww! With all of the weight you've already lost, your body may have gotten used to things or just needed to relax and get used to the new you. Ohh… where are you going for your blog trip???
YOU can DO IT!!! just use your head: remember what you've learned and try to control your portions. if not dont worry; its not like you're gonna lose the 61 pounds back in one week. get back up and continue on next week. good luck!
Drink lots of water, control your portions and do the best you can. The scale is only 1 way to guage the changes you have made. Focus on the things you can control this week and don't worry about the scale.
I agree with all the above comments! You have done great and this will be a great test to see how much you have learned and apply it! Good luck and have the best time ever!

Keep your chin up. You have so much to proud of. Just think portion control and drink water like the other commenters said.
