#ChicagonistaLIVE At Floor & Decor

Untitled drawing

Have you been to Floor & Decor yet? Have you seen a ChicagonistaLive show yet? If you said no to both of those questions, you are going to want to keep reading! Last week, I got the awesome opportunity to do both!

Floor & Decor is for all of you do it yourselfers out there. The store is absolutely amazing. I could literally spend an entire week in there. I came home with a bunch of ideas that Bill claims we can’t afford.

When you first walk in the door, they have a designer you can talk to. They also have mockups for you to look at, so you can start getting ideas of what you want in your home. I personally loved talking to the designers. I love picking the brains of people who know more than me, and their designers definitely know their stuff! All you need to do is come in with the dimensions of your room, and they are more than willing to sit down and discuss ideas with you. When we are ready to redesign our kitchen (we are pulling everything out and redesigning the whole thing), I will be leaning on their expertise. (They do not sell cabinets FYI. However, they did tell me they can tell me where we should put them.)

Once you see the mock ups, you can really spend hours just walking around the store and checking out all of the products they have!2014-09-16 12.56.39

It literally is a tad overwhelming. They really have everything you can need here! Aren’t these sinks amazing?

I totally loved this station. It allows you to see your flooring, tiles, and backsplash all together. I have a hard time picturing stuff, so this was heaven sent to me!

On top of touring this amazing store, we also got to watch a ChicagonistaLive Show! That was amazing too! Now, I’ve watching the show online. However, this was my first time seeing one taped! I learned it is lots of hard work, but the girls look like they are having fun. Make sure you watch the show:

What part of the Floor & Decor store would you have the most fun in?

  1. This is the first time I’ve heard of Floor & ! I really like that they have designers their to assist you and mockups to take a look at. I’m a visual person so I love being able to see that type of thing.

  2. My sister in law wants to be an interior decorater/designer, this would be right up her alley. I’ll have to look for these types of events and shows in our area and tag along!
